Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst is a Pretty Prequel, but Looks Aren’t Everything

Playing through Mirror’s Edge didn’t really leave me with any lasting impressions regarding story, and I felt like there was more combat required than the original, but the game is pretty. Built on the same Frostbite engine that brought us Battlefield 4, Catalyst has some pretty impressive visuals, and with NVIDIA’s Ansel you can freeze the game to take creative photos. I would love to see more games with these aesthetics, but they may be far and few between.
